The two-story Hyde Park residence is a complete renovation and remodel of a 2,050sf house built in 1888, and was relocated to the historic Hyde Park neighborhood in Austin. Its front porch and balcony were refurbished after years of neglected maintenance. They now create a welcoming connection to the sidewalk and neighborhood. On the interior, the existing spaces were almost completely gutted, except for most of the interior’s arched openings. The remodel incorporated a new modern kitchen, a master bedroom suite and updated bathrooms.
