This eight-unit row-styled condominium project was a challenge due to the site’s limited available area and site constraints. The new structure was located directly behind the property’s three existing condominium buildings and above their existing open parking lot. For the project, an elevated poured-in-place concrete structure was provided to allow for the eight new two-story wood framed units to be constructed above and to provide parking below. Several ground-level pavilion styled stair structures with elevated walkways were provided to connect the new and existing units. The architecture of the new building incorporated many of the existing design elements, such as the wood trim and guardrail styling, stucco finishes, and roofing materials. Each unit includes a media room and study space allowing for a flexible floor plan, while the second-floor spaces enjoy vaulted ceilings and dormer windows.
