This project is for a new community center building to be located within a neighborhood community’s existing ~3.6-acre outdoor amenity center in Austin. The new building will be located adjacent to the center’s existing outdoor pool, pool house, sun canopy, playground and park. It will include a multi-purpose community room and various additional rooms within a ~4,000 square foot one-story building for use for up to ~150 people to include open floor standing, seated or tabled meetings and events. The room will be provided with large windows and vaulted ceiling with a north facing clerestory to provide ample natural light and views toward the pool and park. It will also include a large kitchen with a serving line and counter, a large walk-in pantry, an office, storage room and restrooms.
