The Corrective Chiropractic office is located in Bee Cave, Texas within the existing Village Oaks Retail Center, a previous Nix Group Architects project. The 2,070sf tenant space includes the patient waiting area, reception desk, chiropractic area, patient rooms, offices, x-ray room and restrooms. The interior layout and design were in response to the need to include various private rooms and semi-open areas for the wide range of functional needs and special treatments provided. To vary the scale of those area within the existing shell space’s tall ceiling volume, several cloud-like suspended ceiling shapes were added above several of those nodes to celebrate and feature those treatment areas. An exposed mechanical duct system was added and curved down to supply the areas below.
